宗教者とSDGｓへの取り組み 懸野直樹

東日本大震災の翌月、２０１１年４月１日宗教者災害支援連絡会（Japan Religion Coordinating Project for Disarter Relief）が立ち上がった。教団の枠を超え、情報を共有する事を目的とし、今までに３５回の情報交換会などを重ねてきた。減災、救援活動や復興支援についての宗教者の在り方は２０１６年の第３回国連世界防災会議における「防災と宗教シンポジウム」で指針としてまとめられている。

社寺にとって、災害への備えは特別な事ではない。毎年行われる社寺の祭礼は、宗教的意義や文化の伝承だけではなく、地域住民団体の協働の場であり、期せずして減災につながる事を意識したい。

Abstract

The roles of the religious leaders and efforts towards SDGs / Naoki Kakeno

In the month after the Great East Japan Earthquake on April 1, 2011, the Japan Religion Coordination Project for Disaster Relief was launched. It is intended to share information beyond the limits of the religious community, and has had the meetings to exchange information for 35 times so far.

The roles of the religious people in disaster reduction, relief activities and reconstruction support are summarized as a guideline in the “Disaster Prevention and Religion Symposium” at the 3rd UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in 2016.

Preparing for disasters is not a special thing for shrines and temples. The annual ritual or festival is not only for religious significance and cultural transmission, but also for a place where the local communities collaborate each other, so I would like to be aware that it will lead to the disaster relief unexpectedly.
