Shawuti Mohemaiti is born in Ürümqi in East Turkestan - Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the Peoples Republic of China. He worked for a state-owned railway company in China and came to Japan in April 2016. He majored in international politics at Tokushima University Graduate School from 2018. Since he came to Japan, he has informed Japanese people about China's policy on discrimination against ethnic minorities and suppression in Uygur.
